SCRANTON, Pa. — Girl Scouts in Lackawanna County surprised veterans with some sweet treats on Friday.
The troop from Moscow delivered 300 boxes of cookies to veterans at the Gino Merli Center in Scranton on Friday afternoon.
The vets were treated to classics like tagalongs, thin mints, and samoas.
Troop leaders say it was the girls' way of thanking the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country.
