Costco's gluten-free selection just keeps getting better and better. In early 2021, for example, the wholesale club behemoth introduced these gluten-free and keto-friendly mini-cookies, which Costco shoppers were completely psyched about. More recently, it introduced these gluten-free chicken sausage links to rave reviews from Costco shoppers. Now, it appears that Costco is stocking Goodie Girl's Mint Cookies, according to a May 18 post by Costco-stanning Instagrammer @costo_doesitagain. And if the comments on that post are any indication, then it's safe to say that many Costco shoppers are beside themselves with excitement.
As to whether they taste just like Thin Mints (Girl Scouts' most beloved and popular cookie, according to the organization's website), the answer might depend on whom you ask. One follower came forward with an enthusiastic "YES they do!!" But others weren't quite in agreeance.
But here's the thing about that: Chances are, if you've ever tasted Girl Scout Thin Mints, then you probably don't need to follow a gluten-free diet. If you haven't tasted Girl Scout Thin Mints because you're gluten-free, then it would appear that whether or not they taste like "the real thing" is nowhere near as relevant as whether they taste good. And apparently, they do. "One of the best gluten-free cookies I've tasted," wrote one Instagram user. "These are the best," wrote another.
