Girl Scouts of Kentucky's Wilderness Road (GSKWR) are asking local corporations to purchase its remaining inventory of 1,440 boxes of cookies. The Kentucky Girl Scout cookie-season has been extended until Sunday, April 11 in order to meet its sales goal.
Last year, American Homeland Title Agency, with offices in Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati, purchased $10,000 worth of cookies to use for real estate closing transactions. This year, the title agency has purchased 2,000 boxes of cookies for another $10,000.
Funds from the annual cookie sales go towards GSKWR's operating expenses and the program instills life skills like goal-setting, decision making, money management, social skills, and creates entrepreneurial opportunities for Kentucky's Girl Scouts.
With pandemic restrictions and weather constraints having impacted the cookie sales, GSKWR is asking businesses and corporations to purchase the remaining cookie inventory to aid its mission.
Any organizations who are interested in purchasing a large quantity of cookies before April 11, 2021, are asked to please contact GSKWR's Product Sales Director Carolyn McNerney at 1-800-475-2621, option 2, ext. 1312. Or email her at [email protected].
