Cincinnati bakery selling cicada cookies, and no, they aren't made with real cicadas

After a 17-year hiatus, Brood X, a group of periodical cicadas, will tunnel out of their long dormancy and take over the Cincinnati area.The invasion is expected to happen in early-to-mid May, and one local bakery is getting into the cicada spirit.The first cicadas are emerging at BonBonerie, cicada cutouts, that is, the bakery said in a Facebook post.The bakery is selling the cicada-inspired cookies starting this week.And no, there aren't any real cicadas in the cookies.For more on the bakery, click here.
