TRAVERSE CITY, MI - If you’re headed to Traverse City to unwind during Spring Break, one of its waterfront hotels is offering a family Spring Break special that includes cookies and sundaes for kids, and a bottle of wine for the parents.
West Bay Beach sits along the curve of Grand Traverse Bay’s west side. Its Spring Break Family Getaway package includes:
- A bottle of wine in room upon arrival
- Milk and cookies in room upon arrival
- 2 vouchers for ice cream sundaes
- Access to indoor and heated outdoor pools
“Upon arrival, kids will enjoy complimentary milk and cookies, while parents share an in-room bottle of wine,” resort staff said. “Guests are invited to enjoy the indoor pool or be adventurous and take a dip in the 95° outdoor pool.”

West Bay Beach is one of several area hotels and attractions participating in the Traverse City Escape vacation packages, which run through May 21. The promotion offers special lodging rates, along with coupons for restaurants, shopping, beer and wine tasting, and outdoor fun.
