According to Olmsted County court documents, Whittaker told police that he frequently “dumpster dives” in the receptacle belonging to a GNC store and that on Saturday he could see the Girl Scout cookies stacked on a partially accessible loading dock, the TV station reported.

Rochester police, responding to an alarm call, saw Whittaker driving away from the building, stopped him and discovered the back seat and trunk of his small sedan was crammed full with 23 cases of Girl Scout cookie boxes, WCCO reported.

A search of Whittaker’s vehicle following his arrest also revealed two stolen license plates, a pry bar and bolt cutters, a used meth pipe and a small amount of heroin, the TV station reported.
