GREENWICH - The Greenwich Senior Center is closed for events due to the COVID-19 crisis, but it still wants to connect with the senior population in town.
On Friday, the Senior Center, with the help of the and the Greenwich Police Bike Patrol, dished up a special drive-thru meal on Friday.
They served up fresh-baked cod with lemon butter sauce, along with mashed potatoes, braised cabbage and chocolate chip cookies. The meal, which must be preordered, is $5 per person.
The Senior Center holds a drive-thru meal twice a month. In March, it will expand it to once a week.
