The holidays are about to be sweeter for Southlake shoppers thanks to a holiday pop-up for the Dallas store known for its tiny, addictive cookies.
Dallas-based JK Chocolate has opened its first location outside of its Lovers Lane store — albeit a temporary one — at Southlake Town Square.
“We have a lot of Southlake customers driving to Dallas and now we can come to them,” Julie Tobolowsky, co-founder, said in a release.

The business, which began when Tobolowsky and friend Karleen Kusin started making chocolate sauce in their kitchens in the mid-1980s, has morphed into a successful mini-cookie, or Microchip, empire.
JK Chocolate is most known for those popular mini cookies with the trademarked name. Fifteen varieties are available, including Original Chocolate Chip, Pecan Sweeties and a savory option called Cheddar Cheeses with Texas Heat.
Six flavors of chocolate sauce and gift baskets are also available in the store, which is located next door to Nothing Bundt Cakes, at 335 N. Carroll Ave.
