Swift is part of V Magazine's voter campaign this year. The campaign also features mega stars like Jennifer Lawrence, Mariah Carey, and Janelle Monáe, as reported by Delish. Her endorsement of Biden/Harris in the mag came out right before the 2020 vice presidential debate between Vice President Mike Pence and Sen. Harris. "So apt that it's come out on the night of the VP debate," she tweeted on Wednesday. "Gonna be watching and supporting @KamalaHarris by yelling at the tv a lot."
This isn't the first time the Grammy-award winner has voiced her political opinion. In 2018, Swift let her fans know she endorsed Tennessee's Democratic candidate for Senate, Phil Bredesen, according to USA Today. The singer also expressed her thoughts on abortion and other political matters in August of last year. "I mean, obviously, I'm pro-choice, and I just can't believe this is happening," she told The Guardian. "I can't believe we're here. It's really shocking and awful. And I just wanna do everything I can for 2020. I wanna figure out exactly how I can help, what are the most effective ways to help."
