If anyone has ever tried to bake with their child, they know that they need a lot of things. They need the ingredients, a kid-friendly recipe and they need a whole lot of patience. It can be hard for a lot of moms out there to bake with their child, especially if they want it done just right. That may be why a lot of children bake with their grandparents instead, they seem to be able to handle it a lot better; they have an endless amount of patience.
This one grandmother, lovingly called ‘Nana’ must be a saint, because she shows an almost unreal amount of patience when she is baking with her young grandson. The video was posted on Facebook and it has quickly gone viral, and that is mostly because grandson Cade cannot keep his hands out of the bowl.
It appears like Nana and Cade are trying to make some cookies, but whenever he gets a chance, he throws his hands in the bowl to scoop out a bit and eat it. Nana tries her best to keep the ingredients in the bowl, but no matter what she tries, he seems to get more food in his mouth. We are not sure if the cookies are going to turn out right since most of the ingredients are MIA.
The video just keeps getting better as Nana tries to add more ingredients. Then, she gets to the raw egg, and we don't advise consuming raw egg, but that doesn’t stop Cade. He digs in and is able to grab a full handful of the mixture and throw it in his mouth. He seems to enjoy all the ingredients, until he gets to the baking soda. That he doesn’t seem to enjoy.
This is not the first time this has happened, and when his mom caught on to what Cade would do every time he tried to bake with someone, she made it into a series. He even has his own Instagram page, which is full of adorable pictures and videos. The way he acts in the videos has made some people wonder if they feed him at all, because he seems to eat with such gusto and enthusiasm.
