Although you’re probably just as excited as we are for all the pumpkin spice snacks coming out this year, don’t forget that there are many other fall-inspired flavors worth your attention. Keebler is making sure we have its new cookies at the top of our list, because how good do Fudge Stripes Maple Crème Cookies look?
The special batch, as indicated on the packaging, appears to consist of vanilla cookies that are complete with maple crème on the bottom, as well as on the top in stripes. Who says maple flavor is just for topping your pancakes and waffles?
So far, the only information available about Keebler’s newest cookies is from Buehler’s Fresh Foods, a supermarket chain in Northern Ohio. Instagram account @candyhunting brought the find to our attention, and now we can’t stop thinking about them. It’s not clear when the 11.5-ounce container will be hitting shelves — however, we couldn’t imagine it being long now since the countdown is on until fall.
We’ll always have a special place in our hearts for pumpkin foods, but these maple crème cookies remind us that the flavor shouldn’t be ignored. Plus, if this Keebler creation is even half as good as Oreo’s Maple Creme Cookies that came out last year, we’re in for a real treat.
