There are many ways to eat cookies with milk, whether they be dipped, dunked, submerged or dry followed by sips.
On Saturday at Bailey Park, fans of the desert and dairy product will get the opportunity to use their favorite method of consumption thanks to "The Great Milk & Cookies Giveaway" hosted by the Calhoun County Visitors Bureau.
Between 9 a.m. and noon, a giveaway is taking place thanks to the USDA Farmers to Families Dairy Box Distribution, which is partnering with Keebler Cookies to offer a dairy box containing two gallons of milk, four bottles of single-serve strawberry and chocolate milk, sour cream, French onion dip, cottage cheese, Swiss cheese and a package of Keebler cookies.
Vehicles should arrive at the Roosevelt Avenue and Wagner Drive intersection, across from Home Run Dog Park, where volunteers from the Galesburg-Augusta High School cross country team will distribute items.
